Daddy said he sets the camera to aperture priority for most of his pics. Increase iso setting till it gives you a fast enough shutter speed. Increase exposure till it gives a pic you like.
Daddy wanted to mention that he never uses the flash on the camera.
Also the lowest f-stop will let the most light through.
